SONA is a sleep audio app that plays relaxing sounds, music, and white noise. This policy explains what information is handled when you use the app.
Who Is Responsible for Your Data
Darmel Solutions SL, a company based in Spain, is the provider of SONA and the data controller for the limited personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at support@darmelcreative.com.
Information We Handle
SONA does not require an account and does not ask you to provide personal information inside the app.
When the app downloads audio, artwork, or catalog data from our server, standard technical server logs may be created. These logs can include IP address, request time, requested file, user agent, and basic diagnostic information. We use this only to keep the service reliable, secure, and fast.
Legal Basis and Purpose
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process limited technical server data on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating, securing, troubleshooting, and improving SONA and its content delivery service. We do not use these logs to build advertising profiles or track you across apps or websites.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. SONA uses purchase and subscription status supplied through Apple StoreKit to unlock premium content. Apple processes purchase information under its own privacy policy.
Analytics, Ads, and Tracking
SONA does not use third-party advertising trackers. The current app does not sell personal information and does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Service Providers and International Transfers
Our hosting and technical service providers may process limited server-log data on our behalf only as needed to operate and secure the service. We require service providers to protect personal data appropriately. If personal data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we use safeguards required by applicable law.
Children
SONA is designed for general relaxation and sleep support. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data Retention and Deletion
Technical server logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, and service maintenance, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Limited records may be retained longer when required to investigate abuse, protect the service, or comply with a legal obligation.
SONA has no user accounts, so there is no in-app account to delete. To request access to or deletion of personal data that we can reasonably identify, email support@darmelcreative.com with the subject “SONA Privacy Request”. Because server logs are not linked to an account, we may need enough technical information to locate a record, and in some cases we may be unable to reliably associate a log entry with you.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. These rights may be subject to legal limitations.
If you are in Spain or another EEA country, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Spain, this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information handled by the app and our server. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The app or this website may contain links to external sites, such as Apple services used to manage subscriptions. These external sites are not operated by us, and we are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or practices.
